We are gladly inviting all the tech enthusiasts in Libya to attend the Quantum Libya Community Summit 2.0, next Saturday on the 25th of this September, Click here to register and attend. As usual it will be conducted through out Run The World online platform.
If you are still wondering why you should attend the summit, then let’s take you into a deeper insight about quantum technologies (QT) and what is its importance:
Nowadays supercomputers, in spite of their strengths and advancements, are still unable to solve in a reasonable amount of time many complex computing problems. This is where Quantum Computing will influence optimization of complex computing power, network latency, artificial intelligence, real-time predictive analytics, data mining, and secure cloud computing
Quantum Technologies promise far-reaching impact, and it is essential for anyone active or interested, no matter their background, skills, gender, or race to get involved and contribute without limits. Everyone has the right to build a know-how about the next generation of technologies and how they will change the landscape of nowadays ICT infrastructures.
In this Summit, Dr. Asem Elarabi, PhD will give us a deep insight "Quantum Devices, the Path to Quantum Computing" with hands on experience on building real quantum computers being a quantum electronics researcher.
Dr. Asem received his Ph.D in 2018 from the Department of Electronic Science and Engineering, Kyoto University. He has worked for almost a decade on various Quantum phenomena in micro/nanoelectronic devices. His primary research focuses on small-signals detection in cryogenic environments, quantum computing using electrons on liquid Helium, and superconducting Terahertz sources. After doing postdoctoral research at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), he is currently the electronics research support team leader, where he works with multiple teams to achieve their quantum research goals.
