Thanks to all attendees in the third edition of the Quantum Libya Summit, which has covered many aspects for quantum in telecommunications, it was a big success indeed. All the sessions have been recorded, so, you can rewatch them anytime in the future by entering the event’s page here.
Furthermore, Here are some take aways:
6G and beyond networks will potentially leverage the quantum technologies, and now is the right time we the Libyan government starts to take serious steps towards the Libyan Quantum Initiative.
In order to make a quantum boost, we must benefit from the hype of the digital transformation plans in the ICT public sector, by means of showcasing the power of quantum tech.
Quantum Literacy in the public & private sectors starts by assuring the adoption of data science, artificial intelligence, optimization. Hence, bringing the value of business intelligence in developing a sustainable vision, while assuring the involvement of everyone.
The Technical directors and their departments in the big enterprises need special training programs, where they build a robust know-how about quantum computing and technology. This actually will help prepare the workforce that will be needed for maintenance and operating the infrastructure and not to depend on the global vendors to do so.
We are very thankful to Ramy Harib who brought us a deep insight into the quantum tech use cases in telecommunications, by showing the current developments in field and what are the complexity & security problems that arise with the exponential growing number of connected devices in the 5G-6G and beyond telecom networks.
OneQuantum Libya is a platform for quantum literacy in our country, where we host professionals from diverse industries each time to figure out how we can engage everyone in the technological landscape.
This time all goes to our speakers Eng. Mohammed Bizzan & Eng. Mohammed Shengheer for joining us in the panel discussion session. They've made quantum tech in Libya touching the reality in many aspects, including proposing a quantum roadmap for the ICT public sector by means of defining the obstacles and business hurdles that are facing the governmental institutes for the implementation of the digital transformation plans.

Why English teachers are important in building the quantum ecosystem!
Rupesh Srivastava, president of OneQuantum Argentina addressed a network of English teachers in Mendoza, Argentina. The “T-Talk” was organised by Profesora Celeste Luna from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo.
His aim was to bring the awareness of quantum into the classroom for English teachers at secondary and university levels. Why? It’s simple, the “Quantum Citizen” will need English to interact, engage and collaborate with the rest of the world.
Watch the video to learn more. It’s aimed at a non-quantum audience.
